Pitch

Players are trying to contribute as much as possible to the construction of the first ship that will hit the waves. They do this by participating in consecutive auctions of construction materials.

Description

At the start of the game, ship plans are drawn. They consist of 7 pieces on which a shape and a cost is depicted. Players receive a certain amount of money at the start of each turn.

A round consists of several consecutive auctions. According to the auction rules, players place their bids on construction materials. The auction rules change with each sale, just like the bonuses and the mechanics. The player who wins the auction may - depending on their bonus - construct one or more parts of the ship plan.

The game ends when all pieces of one of the ship plans are constructed. A scoring then takes place, which depends on the number of pieces each player has contributed to the finished ship.

In order to win, the players must develop a strategy, manage their money well, and demonstrate flexibility when unforeseen events take place.
