Frères des Hommes (Belgique)

To be part of the construction of a sustainable development for the South.

Frères des Hommes supports projects that have impacts on several development sectors: agriculture and marketing of agricultural products, breeding, education and training, human rights and democracy, crafts and social economy… But not anyhow ! The firsts actors are our partners who define their own needs and offers their own solutions. Indeed, they experience daily difficulties, know de local context and are able to identify sustainable actions adapted to their culture. We also choose partners that can truly move their country towards more social justice.

To promote the North-South and South-South exchanges.

Because solidarity is built up through the knowledge of the other, Frères des Hommes connects various European actors (farmers, municipalities, entrepreneurs of the social economy, …) and associations of the South. Through these exchanges, our partners in the North and South discover their mutual reality, their differences and their similarities and they can thus develop joint actions.

Make Nothern people aware of the development issues.

Plays, exhibitions, events, Frères des Hommes, and in particular its development education sector organises events in Belgium to ignite a discussion on sustainable development and the discovery of other cultures. Because we want to act here too.
